I don't find MK pants to be slim cut at all, and I have big quads/legs

The classic fits have all been real tight around the thighs and groin on me, while I'd have extra room in the waist.
The relaxed fits are just fine though.

Carhartt rugged work khaki if you want them to last a long time.

Mountain Khakis. I wear the Bison color 2-3 times a week. Also have a pair of olive that look good.
Orvis makes some that are a good casual khaki also.
Both are more comfortable than jeans in my opinion.
I wear jeans probably twice a week and the orvis and mountain khakis the rest of the week.

Ive got a pair of the Under Armour Golf khakis I caught on clearance that are comfortable as hell. And they look pretty good too.
