Sound Advice. LSU uses them for their audiovisual work.

Putting a Marantz system in your car...? Get the EQ booster, it's bad arse....

I have a stock GM Bose system in my truck, it sounds awesome.. Hadn't had a custom system put in my vehicle since my '91 S10 Blazer... I'm glad, got tired of always replacing amps...

I had my amp and 12's installed at Mikes Audio back in 1990. They did good work back then. I'm sure its the same..

Mikes Audio

They used wire nuts on my buddies truck I rewired. Literal residential wiring nuts. Wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

I see you are a man of refinement

I really want to replace the Rockford OEM system in my SUV, but the damn thing sounds just good enough to where I can't justify it

Good on you for not skimping on the sound deadner. I probably have close to 100 pounds in my truck...two dynamat bulk packs and two of the door kits. I also used the stinger FAST Rings...highly recommend them for imaging purposes. With the doors shut and the windows up, which is how I drive 95% of the time, you wouldn’t know there’s music playing inside unless you were standing right next to the truck. Inside, however, it’s a symphony of sound quality perfection.

Autoworks Gonzales

I used this place to upgrade the factory car audio. It was painless and professionally done.

Rando...I’ve drooled over the Legends since the first ones were released over 15 years ago. They’re on version 3 now. It’s taken me this long to justify the expense myself. I’ve had them for about 3 months...no regrets whatsoever. The RF 400/4 matches up very nice with them. I have headroom for days with zero distortion. The gain on the amp is set a little shy of half way. The TwK handles 99% of the tuning. I purposely purchased the model truck I own without the premium audio so as to not face the same issue that you have. I’ve listened to the premium alpine available in Chrysler vehicles, and there is no comparison to the quality of sound I now enjoy. That’s not to say the premium Chrysler option is a waste; it’s just not an apples to apples comparison.

What’s the best after market speakers for a Yukon? 6 1/2’s I think. I’d like a little bass without getting a subwoofer.

In a Ford Festiva?

You’re driving the wrong make/model.

Aftermarket car audio shite is trashy.

I went to Crazy Ralph's the last time I had a stereo done and they did a great job.

Of course, that was 1998 - some shite might have changed.
