I like the Audubon, but Ive got a soft spot for the Hale Boggs bridge another Cable Stayed beauty.

Just from the bridge though. Again, the location was chosen to keep it out of view from hwy 61. Those domes are pretty huge up close.

Second this nomination. It was originally a wooden draw bridge.

Buquet Bridge

Combon Bridge
While they may be simple, these are the gateways to many childhood memories.

No doubt, that one is great - really nice height over the river. If you could combine gold cables of the John James Audubon with the dark base of Hale Boggs, you would really be working something.
I also like the I-20 bridge at Vicksburg, but that one is more of a Mississippi bridge I feel like.

Only problem with the Crescent City Connection is the entrance / exit and the level of traffic (as well as how bad New Orleans drivers are.
The sharp turns at the end, and kind of annoying traffic make it harder to enjoy the crossing to the fullest extent often for me.

The Texas st. Bridge in Shreveport is a very nice take on a truss bridge. Definitely One of the top bridges in the state.

When I was a kid, the roads leading up to that bridge were two lanes.

Up north of Shreveport on Highway 2 there is a great bridge, you get an awesome look at the Red River. Definitely would be on the underrated list. Shreveport area has some good ones

While not a bad choice, I'd have to go with Gateway to the Gulf Expressway personally for this style of bridge.

Too bad it’s totally useless and a waste of money. No one uses it and it has never been or will be needed.
