We went to Vancouver a few weeks ago for a bachelor party. Casinos, strip clubs, and outdoors stuff.

Bottom line, who is paying for this shite? Some of you people must have wealthy friends. This is ridiculous.

I need ideas too. Anyone been to the casinos in Blackhawk Colorado? Want something outdoorsy and potentially recreational pot, but definitely gambling too lol. Also definitely not vegas.

The best bachelor parties I’ve been to were at someone’s camp, or even a rented camp. You can get as loud or as rowdy as you want, shoot skeet, fish, make bonfires, etc. & if it’s during crawfish season you can have a crawfish boil. Just my two cents.

Jaco and Nashville are becoming the spots for bachelor parties. Nashville mostly because of the bachelorette parties. Men will always follow the women (especially a bunch of women on a bachelorette party.

We did a long weekend in New Braunfels. Rented a badass house on the Guadeloupe River that slept 20. Floated the river twice. Went to see a show at Gruene Hall, and went out in New Braunfels one night. I’ve done the Miami, Nola, Nashville trips...this by far was the most fun I’ve ever been to.

The groom is getting married later in life. We’re all in our mid to late 30s and have good jobs. Total trip was around 3k, so I can see where you’re coming from, especially if the OP and friends is just starting out in their career. It’s defintiely different from when I got married 11 years ago.

Trying to plan a friends bachelor party.

Maybe ask him what he wants to do.

I went to Houston to watch the Astros for mine last year. That's what I wanted to do. No strip clubs and definitely no trashy arse top golf.

Just boose and baseball.

Didn't care about what anyone else wanted to do. It's all about what the groom wants to do.

I'll second the Montreal vote. Go early spring, prices were very reasonable, beer is good and the entertainment is second to none.

Same here. I quit going to the Vegas bachelors parties.

My 3 favorite trips were New Braunfels, Taos, and Chattanooga.

The New Braunfels trio was very similar to the one you described.

Taos we hiked Wheeler peak.

Chattanooga we rafted the Ocoee.

Those were great trips.
