Best: Incubus back in high school. The whole show was just really good. I never realized how talented those guys are.
Worst: Ludacris at City Stages one year. Couldn't understand a word he said.

Best in terms of quality - Boston

Best: Chris Stapleton. Dude can sing his arse off live
Worst: Chris Stapleton. They all just stand there and play

Best concert I ever attended was 1992 opening date of Gun n roses and Metallica concert at RFK stadium in Washington DC. First time Axle played November rain live

Worst = Jerry Jeff Walker (Shreveport ‘75)
I saw him at the Baton Rouge Fairgrounds (when they used to have outdoor concerts) and he was pretty decent. But maybe I was too

Worst was Lemonheads. Dando played 2 songs, said he didn’t feel good, and show was over.
I saw the Psychedelic Furs in BR and they walked off the stage after their first song because the Butler brothers were having a quarrel. They returned and put on a very good show, though.

I bet that was a cure for insomnia.

Best: The Clash. Joe Ely was opener. Came back on stage to join them for "I fought the Law".
I saw the Clash at the Warehouse in NOLA in '80 or '81. Great show until Joe Strummer started bitching about the US's involvement in El Salvador and Nicaragua.

Worst was back in the days Hank williams Jr when he got drunk and really did not even play. Stumbled on stage and they got him off stage.
Went to another Hank Williams Jr concert and if he was sober or well enough to play the show was great.

Best - A tie between Sigur Ros and Pink Floyd
Worst - too many to list. Bob Dylan, String Cheese Incident, and Counting Crows all come to mind immediately.

Most of mine have been great but I guess Paul McCartney probably stood out the most.
Ray LaMontagne is easily the worst.

I've been to a lot of concerts and almost all of them were quality. One that I haven't seen mentioned and which really surprised me was Matisyahu at the Belly Up in Aspen. I had no idea what to expect but he was incredible.
Probably the worst concert for me was WSP at the Pepsi Center in Denver. We were in a suite and the show somehow managed to still suck. The venue was way too large for the band and they just didn't seem up to it.

One I just remembered was Drivin N Cryin with Fishbone opening for them at Murphy’s. This was late 90 or early 91 because Smells Like Teen Spirit had just came out. Nobody knew who the hell Fishbone was but they absolutely killed it. At the end both bands did a cover of SLTS and the place went nuts.

Best: Avett Brothers - Amphitheater in St. Augustine. No opening act, just rocked for 3 hours. Awesome show.
Worst: Wiz Khalifa & Mac Miller - This was right after he released cabin fever and all we wanted to hear was OJ & Kush tracks. It wasn't horrible, we still had fun

I went to a Celine Dion concert with a girl I was trying to bang. The opening act was some extremely gay black dude.
Terrible night. And no, I didn't even close the deal.

Best: Garth Brooks and Eric Church
Worst: David Allen Coe
(In all due respect, he was 77 years old and still having to play at little bars in small towns after losing everything because of tax evasion)
It was terrible though. He had to be walked out to his chair. He was in sweat pants and a t-shirt. You couldn't even hear him over the back up singers.....I walked out after 2 songs.

Best:
Kent in Stockholm on back to back nights
Garth every time I've seen him
Chris Stapleton at Champions Square
Sigur Ros at the Saenger
Worst:
The Goo Goo Dolls at the PMAC (early 00s most likely)
Ray LaMontagne at the Saenger
George Strait in NOLA
Chris Stapleton at the River Center (venue's fault, not his.)

Best: Dr. John at Jazzfest
Worst: Scott Wyland when he played at the BR Lava Cantina. Dude was whacked out of his mind and slurred every song. Died a couple months after...

Best: Mark Chesnutt, George Strait (mid 2000s)
Worst: Alan Jackson. Love the guy but man, he didn't play his underrated stuff and stuck to his overplayed radio hits. Was ready to go halfway thru.
Also Little Big Town sucked BAAADDDD as they opened for a headliner I went to.
