This is for school grades based on standardized testing etc.

Not letter grades for students.

Unless I completely misread

If you can't get over the bar, just lower it.

It is school letter grades, example BR Magnet is an A school.

Not student letter grades.

It's all part of the plan. Lower standards so low that everyone passes but remain unemployable in the real world. Then they will have to rely on our government and be good obedient comrades or lose their free meals.

Or, you know, for the first time.

Fitting that OP would completely whiff on the content of the article, given the supposed statement he/she was trying to make. Obvious that most others chiming in didn't read it, either. Yet these people are allowed to vote.

Scruffy had the mom of a patient last night who said “she (referring to her daughter) failed last year when they did virtual. They passed her anyway.”

Sweet jesus the O-T is stupid.

This has to do with the annual letter grades assigned to a school, by the state, on the basis of LEAP scores, graduation rates, attendance, suspensions, etc.

This has nothing to do with the F's your kids will get because clearly they are the spawn of idiot parents. Those are still gonna come.

So "other" values that officials determine increases merit will drive your score?

Well, I can tell the author didn't make great grades. There's a word missing in this sentence.

I would have to know what the grades were based on to have a full opinion. I discovered that the websites that rank schools nationally like greatschools.org use things like diversity and equity in determining their rankings.

To me, standardized test scores are still the best way to determine how rigorous and thorough the education is that your child will receive, as far as preparing them for college academically.

Less work for the teachers, instructors rather. Few actually teach.

It’s better that way.

Letter grades are racist.

Just the fact that you entered a school building should count for everything
