Probably about to have another tornado down just south of Pleasant Hill. It may already be down.

Look out Pleasant Hill, LA. Strong evidence of a tornado south of there, moving northward.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 PM CDT FOR CENTRAL
DE SOTO...WESTERN RED RIVER...WEST CENTRAL NATCHITOCHES AND NORTH
CENTRAL SABINE PARISHES...

At 141 PM CDT, a confirmed large and extremely dangerous tornado was
located 11 miles northeast of Converse, or 15 miles southeast of
Mansfield, moving north at 50 mph.

This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!

Usually. Today's environment over NW LA and NE TX is better than most, though.

ETA: I also think due to the nature of Barrel and how its bands are separated it is giving mini supercells more room to work today.

RTR....go back and check the grab I posted on a recent page. We had a debris ball on Reflectivity.

This is the most I can remember a hurricane spitting out in a long time. Rita had a bunch but most were the typical mini swirl variety normally associated with tropical systems.

One of the Florida storms a few years ago produced a bunch I forget which one it was.
