There’s so much crap flying around it’s hard to tell. The woman behind me has a dead tree that I’m obsessively checking in because it could hit my master or end up in the pool and she’s been too lazy to do anything about it.

Still think HOU is going to get the worse of it, even if the Center comes ashore a little further south.

You need to notify her about it in writing. If you do then you can prove that you made her aware of it and she will be legally liable if it falls on you.

I said I'd be worried if I were in Houston back on 7/4 at noon. I got 7 downvotes. Not sayin', just sayin'.

Good call. If it survives this one I’ll do that.

It’s pretty calm in Katy now. Light wind and light drizzle/mist. Guess we are in the eye now. Looks like inside the loop got the worst of it.

Send a registered letter so you have proof she received it.

Seeing on TV 288 @ 610 is a giant underpass lake with a car in the middle, stranded.

80-90 mph wind gusts for over an hour in a metroplex of over 7.5 million people, that's actually pretty good.

I suspect when Fox 26 pushes their 10 am update for power outages it will eclipse 2 million.

Taking a beating right now. Need to track a little more east to get in the eye. Crazy neighbor is out picking up limbs during the worst of it.

OF here. NWS is still saying peak winds at 11. I hope they’re wrong.
