I will advise y’all do not mix Xanax bars, molly, ecstasy, weed, cocaine, Percocet, adderall and bourbon all together in one night.
Trust me. Bad idea.

Same. I have OCD and it’s the on,y thing that stops my mind racing without giving me a “hangover” in the morning. Been taking it for 15 years at the same dosage.
I don’t understand how people are getting multiple prescriptions of this sort and pharmacies are filling them. My doctor and I review my “score” every visit to ensure it’s still low so it doesn’t raise flags and audits for her and the pharmacy. I refuse any narcotic prescriptions for, doctors that might impact that score for just that reason. It’s so well tracked now that o don’t get how people get passed the monitoring process.

Not that you’re asking for advice, but check out the Headspace app. Learning Mindfulness and meditation completely transformed my brain to get “unstuck” from negative emotions, worries and constant background anxiety.

used to. I had a 10+ blue footballs combined with multiple ambien a day type of addiction. Start off the day with 4 xanax, then I'd drink half a pot of coffee while smoking bud and waiting for my pills to kick in. Throughout the day I would make black coffee drinking about 3 pots. There were time where I was fully clothed. Boots, leather jacket, etc..and all i could do was lay and sleep. Anywhere was comfortable, I quit cold Turkey which was a living hell for me. Bit I've not taken one (even when I legit needed them) in over 2 and a half years.

I just downloaded that the other day. It came across my Twitter feed, so did some reading on it. I'm looking forward to using it.

If it is 2020 and they're calling benzos a "hidden" part of the epidemic, we are frickED.

I don't understand this. Xanax doesn't seem addictive at all to me (as opposed to something like opiods). They just made me fall asleep.

The doc has refused to continue prescribing it. However, the doc has also not offered any alternatives.
They should at the very minimum ween her off of it.

Ativan is not a benzo

Had a doc yesterday that sent in e scripts for a patient: He sent
Percocet 10/325
Diazepam (Valium) 5mg
Lorazepam (Ativan) 1mg
Ambien 10mg
Plus
This particular pts depression meds. They haven’t filled the Ativan in a few months yet they send in a new script for it every month. Just ridiculous. I’m not sure how you even walk taking all of that

Why are both of those subscribed?

Probably because the med assistant just refills everything in the patient chart without actually seeing what has been D/C’d or not

I am surprised the pharmacist hasn't said anything. They are warning you now if you are mixing certain drugs like percocet and benzos. Also, if you have benzos for sleeping at night, I'm not sure why he/she needs ambien as well.
Now, ambien is some messed up crap. I took that for like 3 weeks and I would sleep walk and do all kinds of wild stuff on it and never remember a thing. Those ambien walrus memes are for real.

E-prescriptions are great but if done sloppy by poor staff either at the pharmacy or by the office staff putting some in they can be ridiculous. Some are refilled. Some are not. Some are on auto refill. My ambien is a crapshoot.

Is it safe to just take xanax at night? Are the people talking about coming off of them taking them all day?

My doctor has talked to me about it, so I'm wondering how safe it is.

I was the pharmacist. I stored Ativan and left counseling notes on the other. My shift ended before said person picked up their stuff
