No, I've driven by Golden Corral before. Those still exist.

I wonder if he would feel similarly driving through New Orleans or Jackson at night. A situation that is actually dangerous.

A little tidbit

quote:

“Martin Luther King stood for nonviolence,” says comedian Chris Rock in his live 1996 HBO special Bring the Pain. “Now what’s Martin Luther King? A street. And I don’t give a frick where you are in America, if you on Martin Luther King Boulevard, there’s some violence going down.”

Later, Rock gives advice to anyone who finds themselves lost on an MLK-named street: “Run! Run! Run!”

“My old man and his brothers picked cotton in Northwest Alabama. All of them white boys.”

Oh, the horror!

I’m not saying you’re lying about friends having these conversations, but I’m saying they are incorrect for having this feeling. The Klan and posse’s and lunch mobs just don’t exist anymore.

Actually there is still some small level of existence of the Klan today. Loyal White Knights of North Carolina are an example. That said, they don’t have to exist for such stories to still be a thing. The Jordan Leahy story comes to mind.

Ghosts don't have to exist either for people to be scared of them. That's about as rational as your idiot friends

SMH I am done pretending to care about mediocre Black men and their sob stories. I am here for my Japanese and white female allies and am focusing my efforts on comforting them instead.

I remember my dad not wanting to drive thru Fayette, MS when Charles Evers was mayor. He said those black cops stopped white people for nothing, and just gave them a hard time.

In the 70's, I got stopped by redneck cops in Mississippi because I had long hair. They always wanted to search my car. I didn't smoke pot until I went off to college, but they all thought everyone with long hair had drugs.

When I see cotton fields I remember my Uncle Lester, who lost his cotton gin because he set something up wrong because his attorney told him to do it that way.

Lol his ancestors who actually endured the atrocities of slavery would call this guy a soft, attention whoring, little bitch.

Dude looks real chubby and well fed. The only atrocities he knows about are high cholesterol and hypertension.
