My wife has overheard a couple loud domestic arguments the past few weeks while walking the dog. Screaming and slamming doors etc. It’s perfectly expected outcome of stress and being shut in together.

So why in the world are they adding new restrictions?

Like I said in my post....I think people are doing things just to do things. Same reason why every company has made a coronavirus themed commercial....it's not actually doing anything, but it's the thing to do right now. Home depots current protocol does NOTHING...but it's what you do right now.

The fear mongering from the media needs to stop as well. My wife sees our neighbors as threats. She handwashes all groceries including the bags before they come inside. My kids are being told that they can’t hug their grandparents for potentially a year.

Sounds like your pimp hand is a little weak there.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.

Let's not overblow the severity of the blunder.

I agree with these guys.

I have underlying heart issues. My son has asthma issues (they say isn’t an issue) and I still worry.

That being said that link might be Germans for some, but maybe not others. It was a great level headed approach.

I’ve gone back to pre COVID behavior. I wash my hands after going to the bathroom and before eating. That’s it. I touch carts at the grocery without fear. This is all so dumb.

My mom's dementia has gotten pretty critical. I am starting to realize my kids will probably never see her again at a time when she remembers who they are. Possibly the same for me as well.

Ironically, we are doing this to save people like her, but I guarantee she'd rather die sooner to be able to see her family with some semblance of a mind than to drag on in two morbid levels of loneliness.

It’s absolutely ridiculous! I feel like I’m gonna come out of my skin and rage seeing people with these useless masks on! The fear mongering has turned to Covid virtue signaling! Dumbass sheep following in line the arrows point them to everywhere!
