That looks like Mr. Philebar

I had Philebar for a first hour film class. Dude would come in every morning with glassed eyes and rant about current events for the first 10 minutes of class, then put on a movie and nod off at his desk.

I liked him though.

Every morning in the summer as kids we'd ride bikes over there and wade fish for specks and reds out by the seawall. Sometimes we'd swim across the harbor and catch white trout out at the end of the breaker.

It is completely unfair to use a pic of Donz as representative of Mandeville. That place is most certainly an anomaly on the Lakefront.

Bro Donz on the Lake has been a local staple for as long as anyone can remember.

Correct. However, I'm told the daughter now runs Donz and she's working hard to clean the place up.

He has narcolepsy. I used to laugh my arse off when I'd get a paper back that would have half of a sentence in red, and then just a big line from the last word off of the paper. That was the nap point.

He actually taught my aunt, and she is around 60 years old. And yes, they had portables back then too
