Sweat baby sweat...I was dripping in March....my wife took my handkerchief out of my pocket and wiped down my forehead during the service. Everyone in attendance got a laugh from that.

The elevator ride to the 4th floor Justice of the Peace was excruciatingly long. We had to stop at every floor.

Not nervous but a feeling of impending doom.

Sleepy and hungover from the rehearsal dinner. That's a freaking long day.

A friend of mine, who was the groom, got food poisoning along with the rest of the bridal party at their rehearsal dinner. They kept having to leave the alter to take a shite. We all felt really bad for them.

I felt no nerves. Mrs. STLDawg and I were (and are) extremely practical. We recognized from the start of our relationship that “soulmates” are made.
Besides, we were just ready to start doing shots with the wedding party.

Was a nice day. Fished off Cozumel, showered, changed clothes and got married. Pretty good little day.

Stop being an a-hole at someone’s wedding and put your phone away while they say their vows.

Not nervous at all. Took it easy on my wedding day after a couple of long nights in the French Quarter. Got up late, walked to Cafe Du Monde, ate some beignets by myself about 11:00, went back to the hotel and just hung out in the courtyard talking to our guests who passed through, got dressed, took pics, got married.

I don't know how or why people get nervous on their wedding day.

It's not like the wedding wasn't planned or that there are surprises in store.

I was 17. Too young and stupid to be nervous.

It was rough. I was a small town guy and we had a Nola wedding with 350 people.
