Lol it is fricking hilarious that damn near every country has managed to get a handle on this, but our population of fat fricking REDS and dumbass libs have managed to defy the odds and give Rona a second wind.

It's not really up to me if I don't want to wear a mask and get fined and/or arrested if I live in a place with mandatory mask laws now is it?
First it was flattening the curve. We did that. Now it's moved on to "until we find a vaccine or other treatment".
What's the next goalpost to be moved?
Sorry, but this bullshite was shown to be exactly what it is when all the "experts" came out saying how protesting was more important than social distancing and other measures.
The virus is real, but it's not a threat to the overwhelming majority of the population. What is a threat is the political horseshite that is being shoveled and people like you happily gobbling down.

Sounds like he should have gotten his money’s worth. Slapping a hand. frick that judge. They were both there, in public. What better place to have a “conversation?”

I don't understand the people arguing about the infringement on the freedoms or whatever. All anyone is asking you to do is wear a little paper mask in stores to prevent community transmission of a virus. Most other developed countries are managing to do it and having great success but muh freedoms

Wow just saw the video...what a fricking bullshite charge

Cases up, deaths down. Sounds like we are exactly where we want to be.

Good grief. If everyone would just wear a mask we could have been getting beyond this shite.
Just like if we stayed home for two weeks way back in March?

First, in some places it is mandatory any time you're out in the public.
Second, go back and reread what I posted. It's not the fact of having to wear a mask. It's the political bullshite behind the justification for doing so.
The goalposts keep moving, all the while other things are ignored, like protesting.

Sounds like the guy was defending himself from an assault.

So I can't go get wasted and legally drive my car, can't build a nuke, can't shoot heroin on the street corner. Does that make me never free?
No one's asking you to "hand over your freedoms," just to wear a mask in Lowes

Can’t multiple things be true?
Isn’t it possible that we may have needed to flatten the curve to protect hospitals and stockpile inventory and now we just need to save as may lives as possible while we wait for vaccines or treatments? Are those two goals somehow mutually exclusive?
No one is moving goals posts. I’m not even making this political. It’s just being sensible and trying to follow the science.
I trust that most scientists and physicians are in this case trying to do their best and I have confidence it will work. It’s not working in this country yet because people are making it too hard

Just stay home for two weeks.
Just flatten the curve.
Just socially distance and not gather in large groups.....unless it's a protest. That's ok. Because reasons.

No, we don't.

No, it's not.

You mean the same scientists and physicians that said ignoring their advice to social distance and not gather in large groups was perfectly OK as long it was protesting?

I did not agree with the posturing about the protests.
Independent of ones beliefs about the righteousness of their cause, the pandemic should take priority.
People shouldn’t have been congregating and people responsible for public health shouldn’t have condoned it.

Can anyone OTB tell me why wearing a mask when out in public is just TOO much to ask for?

It's too much to ask for when you ignored your own rules and recommendations in order to appear woke.

You can’t be this stupid. It has nothing to do with the virus. The fact a judge thinks he can just issue laws unilaterally is the issue. That’s called a dictatorship. I’m sure that local jurisdiction has a legislative branch. That’s who should be issuing and enacting laws.
