Good Lord. That's what twenty generations of inbreeding will do to you.

Great, now there will be less liberal soy boys at Octoberfest who give a frick about offending someone via cultural appropriation and let it get in the way of a good time. More drindl titties for the baws that don’t give a frick

What did he expect? Germans are the biggest diaspora group from Europe. Did he expect them to completely stop being German and sharing their culture after they moved to Brazil or Kansas?

It is just another festival. Just like hundreds of others in Germany only bigger. It is not, however, about just getting drunk. There is that element but from about 10 AM until 4 PM most days it is basically a county fair with huge beer gardens. The atmosphere changes notably after about 4 PM and getting drunk is indeed the main focus with all manner of debaucheries going on as minor focus points. The idiots also have Octoberfest in September so you gotta know some drinking has been involved from the get go....

This guy is way too white to be making these claims

Honestly, I can understand where he is coming from. He wants to preserve his people's traditions and thinks its gotten out of hand and does not celebrate Bavarian culture and is just an excuse to get hammered. I have been to actual Oktoberfest and it is a shite show. People are pissing on tables, for real.
Anyway, gonna get drunk several times this Oktoberfest.

This thread lacks photographic evidence

Germans need to be happy that they still have a country and culture at all after the shite that they pulled.

Fun fact about Oktoberfest in Germany I just learned about.
Your hotel, or hostel has a wristband you wear. That way in case you get so hammered, or need medical attention - they know where to drop you off at later lol

Yes. And as we all know America is the land of tradition.
