It's not about who votes, but who counts the votes.

I love how they spin this as a victory by reducing homicides from an all time high to just the third highest on record.

Of course, her target demographic eats this shite up like it's pumpkin pie

Depends.

It’s seeing a lot of issues with the opioid epidemic with the clinic there on Reiger Road. And since that involves a lot of white people nobody cares about it. But it is right at The Advocate’s doorstep.

St George will eventually go in balls deep on that issue but they are tied up in the courts now. Baton Rouge was actively putting homeless people in those seedy hotels on Reiger during the pandemic. Not dealing with the homeless issue or the traffic there.

What is it about a Racetrac gas station and the entire area being shite?

Are these areas shite before they get one and they just act as a magnet for it or does it bring them in?

this is true - but these white people also cause a lot of trouble

A lot of them are thieves, which is not violent - not yet anyway

Didn’t some of the aggressive panhandlers on College Dr get shot after harassing people repeatedly?

Are there any noted problems with the RaceTrac on Highland and Old Perkins or something?

I know of one shot in the Trader Joe’s parking lot - which is off Acadian, but I don’t remember any others

Not sure about that one but Coursey and Sherwood, Essen and 10, and Siegen and 10 have been huge fricking problems.

Coursey and Sherwood
that racetrack is just the toppings on the swirl world

With fine establishments like the former Quarters (rip?), boil & roux, Royal hookah and plenty of other places in the area - I’m not sure if the gas station can be blamed

Any fine print in these stats? Noticed cities are removing suicides from stats to try and make their fatal shooting numbers look better. Also noticed cities removing drug related/gang violence from some stats.

How do you tout these numbers when they're coming from record highs?

Such concern. Might it be that it is an attractive white girl?

That's a way to spin it.. I guess. Collapses?

I mean, if last year was considered a collapse.. That just means 2021 was fricking horrible.

Kind of reminds me of Bubby Colvin on the Wire when they dropped the murder rate by letting all the gangs openly deal and take drugs in his district
