I used to play pool there. One time some cops walked in and grabbed my friend and I. They said we stole a lady's purse. Took us to the scene of the crime where the lady saw two tall guys with long hair and said "yep thats them". It was not us. Our parents threatened the police with with some legal action and they let us go. Weird times

Lindsey’s was on north Sherwood Forest close to Greenwell Springs Rd.

Thanks I forgot about N Sherwood as a route to Central from SE Baton Rouge.

Correct. Burger King was across the street on the other corner.
Across Florida in a strip mall on Little John was Mugsy's Billiards.

They had one of these in Metairie back in the day. Lots of wipeouts and crashes. What a great time to be alive!
