I'd say you're a retard for opening your back door to check on your daughter. Nothing happened to her. She doesn't need "checking on" she's just crying and confused. You got pulled over for speeding. Just do what the officer says and be on your way.

so now weed is bad according to the OT?

well it is to the fricking police moron, BECAUSE IT"S ILLEGAL!

I'm all for letting the loved ones of deceased family members that were murdered in cold blood to kill their loved ones killer in cold blood. Just b/c i'm for that doesn't mean you get to go out and do that with no legal ramifications. It's called murder, and it's illegal.

I just find it funny that the story is "they just shot my boyfriend, he has a license to carry, all we had was a busted tail light".
The "oh and we had some weed in the car too" is conveniently left off everywhere b/c this guy was a straight A student with no criminal record right?

My question has nothing to do with why he got killed, but it is a valid question. Too bad your redneck self can't comprehend that.

just seems like common sense that they would

Especially in rural towns. I was thinking about this while I was at lake bruin the other day. There ain't shite within an hour of you. Fire work injury or boat accident, a lot of shite could go wrong that may call for beyond basic first aid.

It is amazing how little we expect out of authorities

But it's still a genuine problem that all of society should be concerned about.

Start by getting rid of some really stupid laws, or reasons to get stopped by the cops.

40% of white males are arrested by the time they are 23. 50% of black males.

Seems the problem is the system, not necessarily the population

something has to push the cop over the edge.

I find it hard to believe that even 1% of police are driving around looking for trouble

I just leaned in to tell her I would be right back

I did (after I told him he got the wrong person for speeding and he eventually agreed with me and let me go without a ticket)

I also never considered me leaning in to tell my daughter that I would be right back could be viewed as a life threatening move to people. Maybe it is white privilege

This. Unfortunately the only people that can fix this would be the legislature through legislation... but it's controlled by LE, so it's no surprise we end up here.

It seems to me that he cop rarely gets the benefit of the doubt. Did officer Wilson get the benefit of the doubt in Ferguson?

On Twitter? No, but for the majority of Americans he did, and rightfully so.

That being said, my point about the benefit of the doubt is with respect to the criminal justice system, and cops often get the benefit there.

The bottom line is that if your occupation gives you the authority to kill someone that authority should be scrutinized every time it is used. There is an exceptional amount of accountability that should come when you exercise that authority.

I'm not suggesting guilty until proven innocent or what not, but scrutiny nonetheless.

i pretty much agree with most of your point there. the only thing i'll come back with is that people, black white pink purple whatever, are overtly more disrespectful now than they used to be years ago and seem to take pride in it.

I mean, if you leave it in the narrative, what does it change? it wouldn't change anything about him being a straight A student with no record, would it?

Has no bearing on tha shooting.

neither does the video, since it shows absolutely nothing of importance to what actually happened, or lead to what happened. yet we all watch this video and take the womans word as gospel and then make whatever preconceived assumptions we have about these incidents and 30 pages later we have a bunch of idiots on both sides arguing about an incident they have absolutely zero relevant information about, yet somehow people can tell if this was justified or not.

Depends on a few things but I largely agree

Let's say they just have an 1/8 in a bag for when they get home, that's nothing.

If they were recently smoking in the car, then it's more a dui situation.
