Doubtful. A sitting judge has been accused of racial bigotry. This is going to be hanging around until it gets hammered out.

Sounds to me like this judge character has been an a-hole and showed his arse in the place before.

The banning could just be a culmination of things leading up to this. No telling. But I completely back Sammy's for doesn't whatever in the frick that want to do.

There are several people in this thread that are credible that I know personally that had negative interactions with him in Sammy's.

Not saying he is racist or blurred out the N-word, but I am saying that Sammy's is most likely tired of his shite, and finally gave him the boot off of 'his seat at the bar'.

frick any entitled prick

disagree. I think it was a simple business decision they needed to make to prevent the inevitable "Sammy's harbors racist judges" claims that will happen until the story is ironed out.

But, if you noticed, The Rouge Collection wrote their story as a matter of fact and apparently so many people went to the page to read it that the server went down. Hell, Shaun King retweeted the story and it's getting some national attention (although likely not much). The fact that they never said "allegedly" opened them up to a massive libel suit should this story prove to be false or embellished. Gravy better start lawyering up for a possible lawsuit.

Truth.

Fact. I talked to two former bartenders there who said nobody that works at Sammy's likes him. "He is a demanding little prick." Were the exact words. I always thought he was a god in there but apparently not.

Because it's a garbage page run by a garbage person. I wish people would stop giving that guy attention.

Surely there are attorneys in place at this point. Anybody know who they are?

Gravy Chambers posted some phone call his "editor in chief" (seriously, he calls someone that blogs for him an "editor in chief") had with a guy from Houma that "witnessed" the incident. The guy said Judge pointed his finger at the woman and that's it. The guy didn't hear him say anything offensive to her. Yet, Gravy says that pointing a finger at someone and getting into an argument is "unbecoming of a judge." The guy has nothing to go on.

The guy did not say he did not hear him say anything offensive to her. He said he could not hear what was being said. Two completely different meanings

Yep. And nothing he said in that interview convinced me this "witness" was at Sammy's that night. Gonna need a receipt to buy that. Same goes for the woman who sent him a private FB message saying Erwin said some nasty things to her. c-o-n-j-e-c-t-u-r-e.

Also. I'm fairly certain Gravy's "editor in chief" said "uhhh" 40 times in that interview.

So, no new news. Still all conjecture coming from one uncredited source, a blog ran by BR's very own, divisive racist, good ol' Gravy Chambers

Now Gravy is saying that because Jusge Erwin was drinking he is a bad person and shouldn't be a judge. What a fricking loser.

This is not necessarily to you specifically. But Erwin was asked to comment by WBRZ and he declined to comment. Why is he not commenting about this?

Because he needs to lawyer up and come up with a way to handle this. Anyone with brains would do the same thing. Even his accuser is now refusing to talk. She was slated for a radio interview then backed out at the last minute? Why won't she talk??
