Also, something can fall, even by a lot, and still be too high - bigly.

Don’t worry, the future is bright.
See, the few white people who can afford to live in town have to send their kids to expensive private schools, which means they usually only have one or two kids. And then those kids go to college and can’t find a good job in their home state, so they leave it.
Like I said, the future is bright.

A lot of people moved to St. George I understand.

A mass purge is the only thing that would solve the problem. And even that would be temporary unless it was nation wide.

Corporate guests in town for a meeting at the Baton Rouge Marriott. At least 13 vehicles had their windows smashed overnight. No report yet of what all was stolen by one of Baton Rouge's model citizens. One of the visitors "what do you expect? We're in f*****g ghetto Louisiana."
This state needs an enema and the hose needs to be inserted in Baton Rouge.
I wouldn't host a corporate event in Baton Rouge, and I also live here, was born and raised here and my company is headquartered here.

Sad...
I hope the state of Louisiana can move in the right direction for the sake of the good people living there.
Edited to add:
Reading these stories surely makes one thankful for life's blessings.

So is it a narrow strip or is it everywhere? In Katy I can leave packages on my doorstep all weekend, and they’re still there.
If you Google map it, its the narrow strip that runs just North and South of I10 from Baker Rd all the way to Kirkwood and along Eldrige as far South as Briar Forest.

This area is nothing like BR…..SMH
OK all knowing Karnack I guess you know and I am imagining I have had my truck broken into twice and a laptop stolen on one of those occasions. Had multiple employees have their vehicles broken into, stolen and catalytic converters removed right off Barker Cypress at a well known Engineering house all within a recent 2 year period. Talked to myriads of people that have had their windows smashed in all of the bars and restaurants in the corridor since I moved here in 2004. Its common knowledge to anyone that works around here that if you go to a bar or restaurant after work bring your laptop in with you. Ill bet you I hear a safety moment at least 2-3 times a year referencing this phenomenon and warning visitors. What everyone is making this shite up?? Maybe you drive a piece of shite or you are the fry cook in your towers bistro or maybe you just live under a rock.

I grew up in Central. Greenwell Springs road from Central west in to town used to be a thriving commercial corridor. The McDonald's at Greenwell Springs and Monterrey was the Friday night hang out for a lot of high school kids.
Florida Blvd from Flannery west to Airline was another thriving commercial area.
I was in town a few weeks ago and drove both those sections of roads. They are depressing slum areas of failed businesses and shitty ones. It's a rot that has been creeping along slowly so you that live there probably don't see it. But since I only come back about once a quarter or less, I can see it clearly.
Baton Rouge is a pathetic slowly rotting corpse. It's a petri dish of corruption and decay and it doesn't look to be stopping. Y'all just keep moving away from it. But it's still coming.

That place should be sued. They put in paid parking a few months ago, have no security or surveillance, yet still claim they are not responsible for break-ins. I only use that location when Renaissance is booked up. Probably just as good staying at Staring Motel.

That is where you went wrong. You should have put them up at the Rennaissance in the new city of St. George.

And if that's not enough, all of Louisiana State legislation and leadership need to be replaced with competent people who can do the job they were elected to do.
Replaced with whom? No good people want to deal with political BS.

Louisiana is dying a slow death. Only poor people and rich people will be left after everyone leaves.

Almost 200 staff in our Kirkwood office.
In 2 years, ONE person had a laptop lifted from his vehicle at Kirby Ice House.
But, let’s go to the car reference and insulting my culinary skills. All that BDE going to your head guess.
You little turd.

I stayed 7 nights at the BR Marriott over the last 2 months. Walked to nearby restaurants, drove around the area plenty and never saw anything or talked to anyone that seemed dangerous. Not saying it didn’t happen, but that area is not exactly skid row.
