We were invited to join. We went to the social, but declined. We have no interest in private clubs where people go to see and be seen. We don’t golf, nor play tennis. We have a pool and cooking is my hobby. Nothing there for us.

I have a friend, who is a minority, who was invited to play there as a guest. He said it was weird how many people came up to him asking who he was, who he was playing with, what kind of work he did, etc.
Crazy thing is intellectually and financially, he could buy and sell most of the members there.

I love threads like these. They remind me how wrong/full of shite some people on the internet are. 
If you have the extra scratch and a family, BRCC is a great place. Highly recommended from a non member that visits a few times a year.
