Trucks should have to stay in the right lane through Baton Rouge. Have cameras set up to issue massive fines.

Having trucks traveling only in the right lane will only result in more wrecks like this one as cars try to squeeze between two trucks while merging on or trying to exit the interstate.

car that was between the two 18 wheelers because it appeared that there may have been four feet between the two 18 wheelers.

My God, that is horrific. I don't see how First reponders are able to do that job. I'd be absolutely helpless and in shock. Maybe I'm just a pus, but I couldn't do it. Imagine the people that saw it happen and were first on seen immediately after impact.

Prayers to all involved. If they indeed pass away, I hope to God it was quick and they never even knew what hit them.

18-wheelers should be forced to take old bridge and 190 to Opelousas.

Trucks over 15 tons are actually not allowed to access 190 from I-110.

Baton Rouge Police said an approaching semi could not stop in time when traffic slowed and crashed into the back of the vehicle, pushing the vehicle into the back of another 18-wheeler. Two people in the passenger vehicle were trapped as it became wedged between the two trucks.
