Video was a little cheesy. I was fully prepared for something awful and was going to respond accordingly, but I kind of like the sound.

I like the Bass player and the guy with the cowboy hat. They make me feel some type of way.

Like it, OP. Had a Roadhouse Blues vibe to it.

Honestly, not bad.

I’m in several local bands, and I’m working on putting together some live outdoor concerts in the next couple months.

Shoot me an email at bryndenblackfish@yahoo.com and we can see about getting y’all on the bill.

Both I reckon. I didn't film or edit so I care more about the music

The aesthetic for the video matches with the sound. For a video that relies a lot on performance shots, the band seems to be a little disjointed - like they don't all fit together. I think some image refinement (i.e. streamlining your look) would help you all out. Your bass player wielding a Ric is an awesome touch for this type of sound, good job there.

As to the music:

- the production is great, I love the guitar tones, everything is pretty damn clear and it sounds awesome considering you guys probably didn't spend a ton of money on recording. The vocals are a touch too high in the mix for my taste.

- There isn't enough meat here for the song to by 4:00 long; this could easily be a 2:30 song and still fit all the good parts in there without boring people.

- Another thing to note, when your hook vocal melody follows a riff it can sound really amateurish. Think of something like Motley Crue's Dr. Feelgood...the vocal pattern follows the riff and it's an ok hook, but I think it can wear on the listener after awhile unless you've got extremely catchy lyrics and I don't think "cheap n dirty poboy" is all that catchy.

All in all, you've got a cool sound (even if it's not all that original), the image needs a little work to be streamlined and memorable, and the arrangement could use some cleaning up.

Sweet some real feedback, appreciate that Mr. Boring. Song was recorded mixed and mastered in 1 day to give you an idea of the time effort and money spent on production

I was expecting this to be as terrible as the Marigny Tumble video that was posted on here once.

It was actually pretty good, though.

For the effort I think it was pretty damn solid. Felt like a primus music video.

Maybe more slime on the poboys and larger bites in the next one?
