Shortly after the story broke, someone at Walmart in Port Allen saw two black guys getting out of a silver Nissan wearing all black. Coincidentally, a TD poster (shawnlsu) has that car on camera a few hundred yards away from the gas station right before the shooting

This has been so odd. Edmonson's statement led people to believe this guy acted alone though if you break it down he didn't actually say that. Now it looks like the Wal Mart guys are involved.

The silver Altima doesn't make sense. If they were in Walmart off port Allen, ok I can see that, but when they left there why would they go south towards Addis? Why not just jump back on 10? Especially if from out of town the south bound on la 1 makes no sense.

Jesus - just realized one of the officers was the same kid I went to school with as a youngster. God Bless his wife, children, parents, family and friends. I hope they can eventually find some kind of peace. A former Marine who saw unbelievable hell in Afghanistan for years and his life is taken by an angry, pissed off United States citizen he would have given his own life for in a foreign country. What the frick is wrong with these fricking people.

Anytime there's even the smallest report of a minor crime in our neighborhood that's reported on Nextdoor, those with cameras will roll back through their footage.

He said he heard about the shooting and the location so pulled up the video. Saw the vehicle which had been described before and then submitted the information to the police.
I believe that is the gist of it.
The camera is one he set up at his mother/mother in law/grandmothers house near where the event occurred.

Then once I heard that reporters were trying to set up in front of that neighborhood, it clicked that I had installed cameras right there. About that same time the HOA president gave a detective my # and he called and asked me to come download any video that I could.
This is not a monitored system, just a surviellance system that is owned by the HOA.
