210 is nice... But you cab tell the flippers...

Not bad for that 57 wagon, you could not build it yourself for $19k.

Yea a lot of people lose their arse with that. I love seeing the people on car shows saying the whole I have 50k invested, like that means anything.
39 custom looks good but i would change the wheels

I’m really interested to see the final bids on the 69 zl1 copo and mustang gt500KR. Those 2 should fetch some good money if the top is ripe with rich intoxicated ego maniacs.
Nurse, this year, try to take a few close up pictures of engine compartment if you can. I’m always curious to see the quality of restoration or work on customs that you just can’t tell on TV. It looks good on TV but the paint, engine compartment, etc sometimes leave something to be desired in person, close up.

Those Corvair 95s are horribly ugly.

Most of the ones we see in the tents have the hoods down. And obviously you cannot touch any of the cars. But I can try with ones that have the hoods up.
ETA: We never spend a crazy amount of time in the main tent watching the auctions. That area is crazy packed with people and if you are not VIP you are finding a spot to stand the entire time if you want to get close to the front. We will hang out if something exciting is going on. Otherwise my husband is wanting to walk around to see all the cars in the other tents.
It’s fun going on the last Saturday cause most of the cars have already been auctioned so you can see what they sold for.

The GTO's and the mid 60's corvettes were cleaning house at Mecum.
The coolest car I saw besides the 1930 Dusenberg was the 1950 Bentley Blue Train
It's exquisite. It went to $325k and didn't beat the reserve.
