Those Power Wagons were badass in their time. 2 speed transfer cases and front and rear PTO.

Saw your photos on my phone this AM (while in church ). Couldn't see the size and quality until I made it back to my desktop. Well done. Nice perspective into the show. Many thanks.

Glad you enjoyed and you are welcome. I just took them with my iphone. Did my best to get a front shot and a side shot of each car I took pics of.

Any year I go I'll try to take pics for yall.

Last year I talked to the dude who makes those upgraded corvetttes from the 60’s for at least 30 minutes and he was cool as shite. I think I showed them to you and Brad, they were for sure my favorite cars there.

Nah I didn’t. I was there for over 50 hours last year so I need a year off! Do you know what this sold for? Around 300?

ETA: Nevemind I was able to zoom in enough to see, 350k. So worth it!

Crazy part is they have half of that in the car.

With commission it's close to $400k

Why does a 2015 Porsche with an $800k MSRP go for $1.2 million?

Porsche is always the safe money... they are, and always have been the car that every builder is "trying" to catch up with technology. Having said that, there are so many other cars that are fun to own and drive, especially when it comes to visual aesthetics. I took this pic of my '69 e-type on "Baton Rouge Beach", BREC Park. Some of you may recognize the sorority houses in the background. I had nine cars in my collection when I bought this out of the local Baton Rouge paper from a guy in Lafayette... for a song. I've been around collector cars for over three decades. In my experience, the majority consensus among veteran collectors and enthusiasts is that Porsche is the undisputed gold standard of all hi-performance sports cars. They hold their value better than others, they outperform just about everything on the planet, and the do it in a way that other builders simply cannot do... and that is to be as reliable and problem free as your family Camry or Accord. I love the vintage Detroit big blocks, Brits, Italians, and will continue to enjoy others but when the time comes, my last car will be another Porsche.
