How much do you think that Vette is worth? I’m guessing 25k-40k max so probably not in the sell your house range.

You’re wrong by probably a factor or 5.

Would you like for me to screen shot the list of about 100 of them for you? People always assume that antique muscle cars are expensive when in reality they aren’t.

Now I don’t know anything about that specific car. If the car was owned by someone special or is tricked out of control then that can definitely bring the price up. However, my point is that you can own a car aesthetically identical to the one in the picture for thirty grand.

Yes I was talking about that one, just like you were. If it’s a Barrett Jackson and looking like that, it’s not a $40k 63 corvette.

Yea I wasn’t going to go there but find me TWO 63 split windows that look half decent that are under $40k.

Fair enough, and you’re right, to be there it is going to be pricey. I was saying you can get one that looks very similar and achieve the same goal for less than forty.

I’m seeing them all over a corvette forum. Just google corvette split window 1963 for sale on google and you might be surprised.

As others have said, That vette is 6 figures easy and you won’t come close to 40 for something with the same ammenities. However, you are correct in that a standard, non BJ worthy 60’s vette on eBay , could be had for around or north of 40k.

A solid driver SWC is going to be around $80k. Anything less is going to have stories.

Depends on the goal. If you merely want a classic to drive and enjoy, sure. But you have to understand what makes certain cars more desirable and valuable than others.
