White people pay alot more property tax in Baton Rouge than blacks despite the city being 60% black.
Should whites be allowed to not wear masks?
Think about that shite before you post.

The whole thread is about the Casino in Baton Rouge
I realize that, but it stands to chance that if the one in LC is a real boat that the one in BR is as well.

Why?

The one at lauberge in Baton Rouge is beyond a doubt not a real boat.

The other two may look like boats, but neither is seaworthy anymore.

Someone should tell the Gaming Control Board

They can classify it as a boat all they want. Doesn’t make it one.

Goodness this thread went off the rails

From JBE’s press conference yesterday

I can't say for sure, BUT, if it is like the one in LC then it is. The one in LC is behind a barrier as well and obviously going no where. BUT, it has paddle wheels, engines that run (and despite it is never going anywhere are tested and ran), propellers, shafts, a pilot house and a steering wheel. If the barrier was removed it can be driven down the river.

It isn’t. It is not capable of moving under its own power. None of them actually are anymore, including the ones in LC and Shreveport. Nor are they required to be.

I'm sitting in my office on the one in LC as we speak and can guarantee that it can move on it's own if necessary. Geez, you people are hard headed.

In the center of it all, lies the casino with over 30,000 square feet of gaming and over 60 table games including blackjack, baccarat and Pai Gow poker, plus over 1600 of the newest slot machines and a high-limit gaming area. Bet you didn’t know…this casino is actually a boat- one of the largest single-level riverboat casinos in the US. Not to worry, the casino is part of the building structure and never leaves the massive tub where it floats at all times. Take a walk along the back of the property and you can marvel at the engineering feat to comply with state law that all gaming facilities be riverboats.

From what I understand they basically make a pond for the casino portion so it floats although it’s land locked?

Which? None of the ones in BR can go anywhere. Lauberge in BR was never a boat or seaworthy, despite any designation of an employee as a captain or slapping on a paddle wheel.

The one in LC. I've said all along I don't know for certain about the one in BR but suggested that it may be the same. Maybe it's not.

What’s the USCG official number? Does it have a valid COI?

I don't know, but I could find out. However the USCG does scheduled inspections so that probably cinches what you still fail to believe.

They are required to inspect because it’s a floating structure that has passengers. When was the last time they drydocked it?

I’ll willing to bet they don’t class it as a boat though.

No, sorry not sorry, but it's people that didn't vote for Rispone after he won the primary that are mostly to blame for this idiot we still have in the governor's office. Screw that howdy dudy bastard Abraham and his stupid voters that couldn't put his loss in the primary behind them.
