Fire in storage area/kitchen area. Bar to be open at 9:00.

I do not miss those old Tigerland Bars: The Tiger, Sports Illustrated, Fred's, Snorkel's.

Of all those bars the best one was Sports Illustrated. I always thought the Tiger had bad lighting. Snorkel's was okay since it was smaller. Sports had better fights. I never really liked Fred's.

Same guys that owned fairway view and caterie own this bar too?

What’s become of the Bayou, Slinky’s etc on chimes street? Bulldozed or gentrified? Always thought that was a superior location for college bars.

In the mid 80’s I hung out at Cilly’s since my roommate was a bartender. Did Cilly’s later become the Tiger Bar ?

I'm amazed when they actually do declare arson around here.

Not that the arson investigators are incompetent as much as they are heavily leaned on to say "No, grandmama didn't intentionally set on fire. She just accidentally left the oven cooking and then went on vacation for a week."

So a juvenile set the fire, which started inside the bar in an office. Quite suspicious...
