Bam's dad should have beaten some sense into him a long time ago.

The Epicly Latered episode about Ban on Vice was extremely depressing. Dude went off the deep end.

Another prominent figure, Steve-O, has turned it around and has been sober for years.

Novak is another one of them who is, by all accounts, sober now. If you want to talk about hitting rock bottom, that dude did. His interview on Steve-O's Wild Ride went pretty deep into it.

Speaking of which, Steve-O has done well with that podcast/show/whatever. He's pulling a wide range of guests. A-listers, if you will.

This guy was always an obvious psycho. His parents indulged every ridiculous whim including him absolutely shiteing on them on national TV. I am surprised he's still living to be honest. Hope he can get straight. Doubt it happens.

Lost a good friend like he lost RD - sucks. But, can't build a life of failure around that pain and expect anyone other than fellow F ups to give you a pass.

But he still never come back to Terrebonne Parish. He was prosecuted here for putting a staple through his nut sack.

That's illegal in Terrebonne Parish or the entirety of Louisiana? Asking out of ignorance.

This would mean that Bam was only 20 or 21 years old at the start of Jackass, which is younger than I expected.

And that he was 25 for Viva La Bam.

His parents definitely let him get away with everything because he has a pro skateboarding deal as a teenager and was making good money. In return, he didn’t respect any boundaries and became a very obnoxious person

I always wondered how some of these X games dudes would age mentally… not really a dude like Tony Hawk (though maybe in the way that he still lives off his past glory)

But the lesser known dudes. The party has to end at some point, right? Some have probably succeeded but I can imagine the aging frickups who still think they’re a star because they were on ESPN 15 years ago

I think this is the problem. Dude never had boundaries and thus he ends up like he has.

Even the Jackass crew said enough was enough.
