Their message has been printed on T-shirts and flyers. They designed a website and held community meetings. More than 1,600 people visited their Facebook page. The grass-roots campaign has swelled since it began in May.

I was going to go out and cap some bitches this weekend but Facebook told me not to.

I'm sure BLM and Al Sharpton will promptly denounce these crimes.

Oh wait, that doesn't fit the agenda.

Wait, you mean to tell me that the flyers and T shirts didn't work? I'm shocked.

It did actually, whomever printed the shirts just made a few grand.

I'm surprised the government hasn't tried a similar approach by making some sort of system that would tell people what they shouldn't do. Maybe call them laws or something

Just found an article showing how 68% of murders happen in 5% of the US counties. US murder is almost cut in half if you remove those counties.

It's stats like those that make the whole BLM movement so hard to get behind. I can understand the perceived notion of police over reach to a point, but the vast majority of violence is not coming at the hands of law enforcement.

If they would take on the violence in their community, there'd be less police interactions and less opportunity for a negative consequence.

Are stats the only reason? How about they want lawlessness to prevail in the US and Police dead?? Idiot!!

Obviously there's plenty of reason they're hard to support. I guess I should have said SJW types instead of BLM types.

I like your use of double punctuation. It really gives it that extra zing!!

At least community organizers tried. you can't fault that.
The real solution starts at home, and no "community" can solve that.

It is a society issue, but society can change , and IMO this is as good as a step as can be tried.

They forgot to pair it with a gun free zone. Dummies. Next time they need to declare it a gun free zone and it'll definitely work.

Idk what's sadder: the fact that some thought a weekend initiative like this would work, or the fact that that it failed spectacularly.

The first is a travesty. The second is unsurprising.

Clearly the murders were perpetrated by systemic racism
