I don't see them at the camp very often and was hoping this one would go fishing but he has just been sitting there for the last 45 minutes chillin'.

They are all over the swamps here, a little too many, if they only ate snakes sure but fckk scoop up rabbits.

I see more bald eagles than owls some months.

Such a majestic bird. Had one on our property not long ago. The wingspan was probably 6+'.

Is the big bald eagle nest still there near the 10/310 split coming off the spillway?

A couple of years ago I watched a mother teach her youngun how to fish. It was amazing watching the kid follow mom in a shallow dive and try to snatch fish up. I was so caught up I simply forgot to get the phone and video it.

The nest is still there but I haven’t seen Eagles there in a few years. I think they left that nest

They are always around my house in the middle of Houma. Coming back strong around here. A couple were in my yard one day. I had to tell them they couldn't hand around rent free and better be taking care of some rodents

They are awesome to watch. Years ago there was a nest in the woods behind my house (not directly behind, about 200 yds from the end of my backyard)

At one point I would see it maybe once or twice a week for a few months then all of a sudden I never saw it again. They are huge when they spread out their wings.
