You are still posting on the OT, so it wasn't that bad of a storm

Wife is flying out of Houston today. Hopefully her flight makes it out safe.

We have the double windows that allow the bottom to be open down or removed for cleaning. The winds were hard enough to blow it in completely.

Overturned Vehicle blocking 114 Westbound in Grapevine. Only one lane open. I can see 114 outside my window here in Las Colinas. Not backed up this far yet. But yikes.

Where in Las Colinas? (I used to work near 114 and 161 until a transfer to Richardson)

You may see a backup soon enough, especially with all the construction.

I have to drive from BR to the Dallas area Thursday. Looks like it's going to be a nasty drive. Hopefully it'll just be rain and nothing to severe.

I cut my family visit a day short when I saw the forecast for this week. Drove NOLA-->Dallas Sunday evening.

I'm just West of Dallas and thankfully that big line of storms has already moved completely through. Half an hour ago was that super-fun booming thunder/big tree branches groaning/deep mustard yellow green sky mashup that tends to create random damage.

Good luck DFW peeps. 70mph straight line winds reported in Ft.Worth. I'm in Iriving right now and can't imagine driving on 20/114/ or 635 right now.
I'm in Plano, and i have a job interviewee coming in at 10am. If they show up, I feel obligated to hire them on the spot for their dedication.

Make sure you stop at Billy's in Krotch Springs for some fresh boudin balls! The best out there.

Yeah, it got bad then it went away. Why can't it knock all power out?

Flew into DFW this AM for a connection. Let me rephrase, attempted to fly in. 2 hour flight turned into 6 hours and my connection got cancelled

Horizontal rain pounding on my window woke me up at 9dam am here in East Dallas. My futon on the covered deck got wet too. The horror.
