See, I think that's pretty cool. I knew a kid in school named Estienne. As a kid, he said he would have rather been named Stephen. I told him I thought Estienne was way cooler.

I suggested Dean last night as an alternate, and she was down with it.........until I mentioned it was a slight nod to Dean Winchester. She was less receptive after that

I don't think that's absolute, but mostly true. I've always been partial to the name Kaitlyn, even though I know that's "new age" and different. It's not totally offensive though like brynlee or the like.
