If you can't tell the difference between John or Susan and Brynlee or Kadence, then sorry you named your kid a trashy name.

pronounce the dash, and you get "LaDasha". It was an Internet fad a couple of years ago and all of a sudden everyone on the web knew of a teacher who had a kid in her class named La-a.

Think of it this way....How will it look on a resume??

Sad but true. I'm in the process of hiring and reading through resume's is PAINFUL. I am trying my best not to judge the candidate based on their name. Hell, they had no control over it, it was their dumbfrick trashy-arse parents who picked it.

But damn, it's hard to take a LaTravisha or LaChaundre seriously for an $80K a year job position.

And Brynlee is not a human's name, it's a poodle's name.

I couldn't imagine people with those names qualifying for an 80k a year position

We are so ready for him to come, mainly because she is so uncomfortable. She's waddling around now, so I occasionally call her Happy Feet, which cracks our daughter up because it's her favorite movie. My wife's reaction is usually somewhere between amused and "shut the hell up".

Admit it, you just wanted to be able to say in your best Darth Vadar voice "I am your father."

Just saw top names on Headline News. Girls were all Latin names. Boys' top name...Jackson. Yes that's right. The #1 name in the nation for newborns comes from the lead on Sons of Anarchy. I love the show, but that tells you all you need to know about this country.

Creative is usually unnecessary. There are TONS of interesting, lesser used names (usually older names) that stand out without having to make any up.

With our two boys, we pulled older names. Neither are made up, or sound strange to anyone that hears them...but if we call them in a room full of kids only they turn around.
