Absolutely no medical benefit to circumcision. You are cutting off a pice of a child's genitals so his penis can look "normal". I don't care what you personally do, but call it what it is, a cosmetic procedure.

It is a very Hispanic thing to do. A friend of mine is married to an Ecuadorian girl, both very well educated and live in a pretty nice part of Washington D.C. and their girl had her ears pierced before her first birthday.
My buddy said every one of the girls on the mom's side has pierced ears, and it is just some weird almost compulsory Hispanic move.

From reading this thread - I guess that's the consensus.
Also found out most people on an anonymous message board think I'm trashy because my daughter's ears were pierced before her 1st birthday. Good thing IDGAF about their opinion.
