If you want to hear some really strange names then talk to a doctor or nurse who worked in a Charity Hospital. My doctor told me that when a poor uneducated female has her baby, some nurses will suggest horrible names to the new mother. If the momma likes the sound of the name or is a name that isn't heard in her social circles, then the momma will name the child what the unethical nurse will suggest. If another doctor or nurse tries to tell the mom that the name isn't a good one, the uneducated mother usually refuses to change it. My friend had D'Anus in her classroom. I know that some who post here definitely heard of the deceased black man whose name was Delicious Peters. Delicious lived in Livingston Parish. People who knew him never brought up the issue of his name. My neighbor knew him and he said that Delicious was a very likeable person.

I could see as a family nickname/joke but that person has to be an adult with that asinine name.
I guess he'll have to grow up tough like a boy named Sue.

I didn't know Delicious Peters but remember the name from repair orders at the dealership I worked for. Probably about 15 years later, now I work on his sons cars. Good people. One of my favorite customers.

I am going to call bullshite on this. A kid with this name is going to get fricked with, especially by other black kids.
If a kid (usually black) has one of those fricked up names, they usually go by a short version of that name because kids don't give a frick and they will mess with another kid with a messed up name.
I remember back in the day I heard for several people this story "My momma's friend is a teach at ________ school and she had twins in her class named "la washa and la drya".
