Wrong. There are different types of averages.

Mean
Median
Mode

I think you meant that the mean (most common average) isn't the same as the median. That is correct.

See I run about 185 lbs with a 34" waist. It would take some effort to get to a 38" waist for me. I'd like to get back to about a 32" waist BUT I don't care to work out.

Last time I weighted myself I was 176 and I am now wearing 33"/34". I got up to 207 at one point and lost all self respect for myself and decided something had to change. That was while I was working out too. Eating plate lunches everyday will put some lbs on you. Sometimes people don't notice they are getting fat until they are fat. Some woman just don't care because someone is still going to frick them.

If a set is 4 numbers, how would you describe the median?

The fatty lovers on the OT will love this. “Something, something, I don’t like women with the body of a 12 year old boy.”

I feel thick at times and I hover in between a 31 and a 32. Can’t imagine fitting a 38

People need to put down the Cokes and ice cream

i'm pretty sure that Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama drive the average size up considerably

Don't sell these Arkansas girls short. This state has plenty of big girls too.

This thread turned into 4th grade math real quick. And it’s not even an order of operations question poorly written by an overpaid math teacher

Where in the HELL is my vanity sizing. I'm not considered fat,a more naturally athletic build. 5'4, about 135ish, more muscle than anything, and can't get lower than a size 10. I don't have chicken legs, or a flat back also, so I'm sure that comes into effect. I feel like I'm seeing things like Shallow Hal. I never measured my waist before, but its probably way smaller than 38".

The only thing good about a fat woman is you know they like to have things in their mouth.

I feel the same way. I’m over 6’ tall. I’ve had friends who were 8” shorter than me, but weighed the same. They somehow wore the same size as me, or a size smaller. It makes no sense.

The other day I dug out some old jeans to do some painting, and they were huge. I pulled out the waist like on a Jenny Craig commericial.

I later looked at the size: 32. But my current 32s, while loose aren't comically large. And the old jeans weren't super worn or stretched out. I washed and dried on full heat.

Vanity sizing is real.

When you consider what the average American diet consists of, does this really surprise anyone? It’s really odd how anyone can just look around at the sheer number of fast food joints littering our landscape, consider the popular foods, and the copious portions we consider average, and then scratch our heads why Americans have become so large and in charge.
