Although the SAHM life isn't nearly as hard as they want you to think it is, there is some good credibility to the idea that it's easier on the parents to have a kid in daycare all day.

You do significantly less cleaning every day when your toddlers frick up someone else's house for 9 hours a day.

Our kid is 7 months and will hit day care next year and my wife will get part time hours at her old job. We're really looking forward to it.

She used to loathe working and was so happy to become a SAHM and now she'll admit she misses working (nurse).

I just took 2 weeks off to help with our newborn.

I couldn't wait to get back to work

My wife works 40-60 hours a week and will still run circles around these whiny stay at home moms.

Write that up and have her sign it in front of a notary so she can't complain in the future.

I did 1 week off and holy shite I've never been so happy to drive into the office

This might seem terrible, but there have been nights where I didn't have pressing work that required late hours, but I stayed a few hours later to work on it because I wanted the peace and quiet

Everything women do is “the hardest job ever”. They constantly use hyperbole to get more attention and more sympathy from other people.

Can't argue with that either. My wife has mastered hyperbole.

I think we've all been there. Especially in the early months.

I know when I'm looking for unbiased Scientific Data, I always look to Welch's Juice Company for their studies.

That's right, sheep, fall in line. Big Fruit Juice thanks you for your continued approval of their propaganda. Meanwhile, the Grape Lobby is in bed with HFCS pretending to be enemies, and we're all just lapping up the "no sugar added!" labels while the Uniparty laughs.

pulp count HIGH
fake juice media
think logically
define "seedless"
enjoy the show

Youre getting a good reception in here.

I did this thread years ago and was getting bombarded for like 12 pages until ice cold anchored the thread because his thread was getting no attention

Maybe the OT wised up

Y'all act like stay-at-home moms are the only ones that complain about their jobs when this board is littered with so-called alpha males bitching about their jobs all the time.

Everyone complains about their job, it's a part of life. But most on here don't think they should be paid quadruple what they actually are simply because their job is stressful or unrewarding sometimes. Or write blogs and articles about how their job is harder than everyone else's job.

posting on TD is like a second job until you realize you neglect your first job all day to do it

A study by Welch's juice company, funded by the mom lobby, confirmed my belief that being a mother is in fact the hardest job in the world.

That might be my favorite sentence in OT history.
Well for full disclosure I wanted my readers to know the study was funded by Big Mom. That doesn't mean it's biased or inaccurate, it's only due to the sad fact that no other lobbies will support this cause.

I raised two kids while taking care of a debilitated spouse. I put in 40 at the office, then another 90 or so at home with kids and caregiving. That’s three full time jobs, I guess. No more than five hours sleep a night. For ten years. Can’t say I’d want to do it again.

My hat is off to anyone who raises kids alone. I don’t really care if it’s one or three job equivalents. It’s hard work.

This applies to everything women do.

Teachers, nurses, whatever. Constantly posting shitty memes about how hard their jobs are, the margaritas they'll need, and the sacrifices they make.

Put women around other women and they'll unionize to protest whatever the common circumstances they experience are, whether they're good or bad

Seriously, put 5 wives of loving billionaire husbands together for a long weekend and by the end of it they'll be chattering about how they're not gonna take it anymore
