Those guys are below average height because Tate is only 5’”6. But they’re young men and about 25% body fat which is above average so they’re about average guys. Tate got killed by rousey. So yeah....average man loses vs Rhonda

Maybe if the average-sized guy was in his mid-20s he could just wake up one morning and find out he’s actually grown two inches?

We have a poster here who would like for us to believe that this happened to him.

Never mind that his pants would have all been way short and that all 5’6” 20 year-old males are painfully aware of precisely how not tall they are.

And Mingo was his lame-o.

I think Rogan is right. Your average BJJ blue belt can beat an elite level female professional fighter.

I have spared with female judo and bjj world champs and black belts at seminars and open mats. They can beat most men in the confines of the rule set for the given martial art, but in a fight... no chance against anyone with even some degree of training.

I don’t agree.
Years ago I worked with a guy who was all of about 5’6” and weighed no more than about 125 #s. I never saw him fight but people who did said he had taken out people in bar fights that were significantly bigger than him. They said he would go apeshit if he got challenged.
So with Rhonda, she not only would bring fighting skills but an energy level the average guy wouldn’t have.
In a straight stand up fight i.e. boxing, she would be at a disadvantage. But in the cage, an average guy with little skills...my money would be on Rhonda.

Power and strength also don’t mean shite when you want to puke and have noodles for arms and legs after 60 Seconds. You have no power or strength then. It’s extremely hard to imagine the average guy or even the average “fit” guy doing any kind of conditioning that would allow them to last more than a minute or so without being totally gassed.

People don’t understand how crazy conditioned fighters are.

She cuts water weight to get down to 135. She's actually around 150.

I have friends that think they can beat Rhonda in a fight just because they are males. Would a guy with an average build (say, 5'9", 175lbs)with minimal fighting experience stand a chance against Rhonda?
Let me put it this way... somebody that people have been wanting Ronda to fight for years is Cyborg Santos. Cyborg is one weight class up from Ronda... the 145 pound class. But fighters aren't actually the weight that they fight at. Fighters cut water weight by dehydrating themselves days before the weight in. They will do things like wear plastic suits or trash bags and do cardio to sweat out water. They cut out carbs and salt so their body doesn't retain water.

They will lose 15 to 25 pounds over the span of a week in water.

Cyborg is actually 165 pounds. She cuts 20 pounds of water weight to make weight at the weigh in, and re-hydrates before the fight.

So this 5'8", 165 pound beast is a peer of Ronda's. Do you think a guy who is 1 inch taller and 10 pounds heavier with NO training could beat up this:

She's a Muay Thai black belt and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu brown belt (brown is right below black) and won bronze at the ADCC submission grappling World Championship (It's like the Olympics of submission grappling).

My point with all of this is that Cyborg is a peer of Rousey.

If you don't think an average, untrained 5'9" 175 pound dude would stand a chance against Cyborg, then he also wouldn't stand a chance against Rousey.

Now, a 6'0", 200 pound athletic dude with some training? That's a different story.

No. A guy with minimal experience would get their arse kicked by her.

Regardless of size, a guy with fighting experience stands a much better chance. I'm 50 years old, 5'11", 195 lbs, and I'm probably stronger than her. I'm not in great aerobic shape now, so I couldn't hang for long, but I guarantee when I was in my 30's, I'd have beat the brakes off her.

1. No shite. It’s a demonstration. But it shows she has no problem throwing a guy around, and she has the training to do it.
2. A professional fighter.
3. A professional fighter.
4. Pic of her looking way more ripped and in shape than the average guy.

Y’all are basically trying to argue that an average 5’9” guy who hasn’t really played basketball can beat a WNBA player. Even though a bunch of high school basketball players could beat a WNBA player, it doesn’t mean an average guy who doesn’t play basketball could.

Same concept with fighting.

This thread is full of stupid. Any dude that is between the ages of 18 and 50 that doesnt wear skinny jeans and suck cocks SHOULD beat the shite out of any and all women.

There is ZERO question to this. Is basic biology.

The only men that would have a difficult time are men that are smaller than said woman. Any man with the same weight is naturally stronger by birth.

1-2 bare fist punches and that woman is probably asleep or pulling hair. Whichever comes first.

Move on to BJJ/Jujitsu and sure a skilled woman can make a man tap. The problem is any 190lb man will be too strong to get in that position unless he is just laying there.
