Black guy killed by a cop. We already knew his position whether the cop was wrong or not.

I just find it hilarious that he thinks he's Matlock because he got a snippet of an autopsy report. Obviously he can piece together a crime scene without even laying eyes on it.

You think this autopsy is enough to draw conclusions?

Now Gravy wants the sheriff fired now (FB)Voters in West Baton Rouge you can fire Sheriff Mike Cazes this year if he denies justice for Josef Richardson.

Qualifying for The election of Sheriff in West Baton Rouge Parish is next week, Sheriff Mike Cazes needs to fire and charge the officer who killed Josef Richardson or he shouldn’t be re-elected.

You don’t have to wait 4 years for a new Sheriff West Baton Rouge. If a deputy shot a man in the back of the neck and the bullet severed his spine, that cop should be in jail. If the Sheriff doesn’t think so, he shouldn’t be your Sheriff anymore.

West Baton Rouge, someone needs to qualify in the election to run against Mike Cazes otherwise he is going to get a free pass to excuse a cop shooting a man in the back of the neck. Elections matter, and the race for Sheriff and the importance of it should be crystal clear right now.

If you or I shoot someone in the back of the neck, they won’t be investigating for months before they lock us up. The same should be for this cop. There must be accountability.

I like how he speaks in absolutes. Being shot in the back f the neck is irrefutable evidence that something nefarious happened?

What about if this guy was on top of the cop, cop pulls his gun and takes the first shot he can get near the guy's head and it clips his neck?

There are a million scenarios where shite like that can happen, but this uneducated fatass can put together and entire crime scene with no evidence.

Or he can let the investigation play out, like an intelligent professional should.

Yea, I'm thinking the same thing. Drug charges were 15yrs ago & cops throw so many bogus charges at people to get higher bonds & hope some will stick. They use resisting arrest so liberally now that it's as overplayed as the race card.

Especially 15 years ago when it was largely ones word against that of a pair of officers.

He may have been violent that day, but simply a resisting charge is hard to really hang your hat on as proof he was the type to wrestle cops

I have second hand info given to my source from someone in the room that the deputy accidentally discharged his gun as he was holstering following the initial takedown of the deceased, who he was standing over.

I also know enough about the deceased to say he was far from an innocent angel and that he would be going to prison for a hot minute in any scenario that didn't end in his death.

Actually that’s exactly what homicide means by definition: the deliberate and unlawful killing of one person by another;

Homicide, as a co oner would use the word, means any unnatural death caused by a person's actions.

That's okay, body cam footage will tell the whole story. Right?

I’m lazy and didn’t look it up. What was the warrant for?

One thing is for sure, those who are calling for the ousting of a Sheriff and the firing of this officer PRIOR to an investigation being performed, better hope they never find themselves in a falsely accused situation.

If it was a AD while holstering, then the guy should be charged with the crime pursuant to that scenario. An AD isn’t murder-one.

If the guy was in the fetal position firing his gun blindly at the door with his head turned, then the cop should be congratulated.

If the guy had complied, ie not committed the crime for which the warrant was issued, or shown up to court or whatever before the warrant was issued, he would still be alive.

Cops need more gun training. The vast majority that I know fire the minimum number of rounds required by their department. If you are going to carry a gun, and be the law, then you should be better at it than me.

Are you stupid?

Executions are even listed as homicide. Justifiable homicide is perfectly legal.
