He is a communications consultant but his text messaging seems like he can't write or communicate very well. Who the hell is over the age of 30 let alone 37 and taking a woman to a movie on first date? A comic book movie at that on the first date. Wants the ticket price plus the $4 pizza lol. That dude won't get another date now. His name is out there and not in a positive way.

Actually, we agree to meet to see if we want a 1st date. If we do then I pay.

Not every meet up turns into a 1st date. I only pay for myself on a meet up. Considering all the meet ups I've had with only 1 complaint I'll stick with it.

There is no doubt in my mind that this is some kind of viral marketing ploy or gambit at getting notoriety.

But this dude took a 35 year old woman for a $4 pizza and a comic book flick for a first date, so I think I hate him. That she drove makes that hate stronger.

I laughed.

“I had my phone low and I wasn’t bothering anybody,” she said.

that is a ridiculous lie but it speaks to her inconsiderate nature

She was texting a friend, who was having a fight with her boyfriend, she said.

if this were true she should have just excused herself and went to the lobby to do it

“It wasn’t like constant texting.”
this is just physically and mentally impossible for a woman to not do. she cant even honestly believe her own lies on this one.

--------------------------------------------------

lastly, by just walking out and stranding him at the theater like that, without so much as saying she was leaving, simply for him making a most reasonable and simple request, speaks volumes about this woman being selfish and completely self absorbed in her own world above all rational rules of social decorum.

--------------------------------------------------

now for him

sues date for the amount of $17.31

you are just pathetic dude!, count yourself lucky for being rid of such trash and for the mere price of $17

plus, pizza and a movie, making her drive you in her car at her expense, you are the cheapest date ever and you deserved to be walked out on even by a fatty ho.

you "supposedly" own a business and yet you are such a cheap as frick like that

Maybe she texted him to tell him she was leaving but his phone was off or on airplane mode and could not get text.

Yeah, they're both bitches.

Seems like Guardians of the Galaxy was his idea though. I don't suspect many legit comic book movie fans want to spend their time in the theater texting, then leaving early.

Alamo Drafthouse comes thru again
quote:

The Alamo Drafthouse has long led the charge for no texting or talking during movies, often enlisting celebrities to spread the word.

But when founder and CEO Tim League learned about a lawsuit that Brandon Vezmar of Austin filed recently against a woman seeking the cost of her ticket because of her texting during their movie date at the Barton Creek Square theater, League said he was conflicted.

“On one hand, I am concerned about our courts being clogged with superfluous lawsuits, but as Vezmar states, ‘this is a threat to civilized society,’” League said in an email Wednesday to the American-Statesman.

He said that if Vezmar would drop the case, Alamo Drafthouse would pay for the movie ticket.

“To save the time of the courts, the Alamo is willing help put this to bed and hereby offers Vezmar a gift certificate in the amount of $17.31 for his next cinema outing,” League said in the email.

Vezmar filed the claim last week after he and a Round Rock woman went on a first date to see a 3D showing of “Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2.”

The 35-year-old woman, reached by phone Tuesday, said she did not know about the claim against her. “Oh my God,” she said. “This is crazy.”

Grab an extra tube for yourself next time you hit the pharmacy. People who go straight to Politics for insults completely lack a personality.
