Found your problem. Austin is just Berkeley-East.

District-mandated is not the same state-mandated.

And there’s a difference between a dress code and not being allowed to show bra straps and underwear.

Not really. ISDs are basically government entities. They operate the same way.

It was the liberals who were complaining and demanding the dress code be relaxed.

Protest it if you don’t like it, right? God forbid we have any sense of structure.

As a father, I can not imagine letting my daughters out the house to go anywhere with a thong or bra strap showing.

I can't control how they adjust their clothes when I'm not around, so I teach them what is appropriate and hope for the best.

Yep. Same with my daughters

Although I will tell my son to whip their arse if he sees them out like that, same as my did for me with my sisters

Brothers are undercover added security

Correct

But when using to suggest who is in charge of dress code, it isn’t the same. The state is not telling districts what to wear.

Is this the thread where a bunch of people who identify as conservatives defend extremely liberal concepts like state-mandated dresscodes?

Is this thread where certain posters don't know the difference between conservative and libertarian?

A thong, OK. I get it.

But a bra strap? C'mon man.

Right? I was guessing there are more Amish people on here than I originally thought.

Does the new dress code apply to the teachers?

Teenage me would have cheered hard for this rule change.

Slutty attire is what made HS tolerable.

Is this another thread where Louisiana is making fun of Texas schools? Maybe they should be taking notes.

Underwear should be under the clothes.

If you don't want the bra strap to be exposed just don't wear a bra bro.
