Audubon Aquarium apparently opens late today because of bullet holes

Was closed since November for renovations, reopened two days ago.
Apparently someone shot it up overnight. No news story (so who knows if this is a redditor making shite up or just lazy nola reporters) but from reddit link:

was checking into a hotel, a very nice hotel in Cali, Colombia after work one night, there were some high end stores in the lobby/atrium and some workers were finishing up installing new glass in a jewelry store and sweeping up broken glass, I asked the guy at the desk what happened, "oh, some banditos tried to rob the jewelry store a few hours ago but not to worry, the policia killed all of them"
