Know the hilarious thing about this? Inevitably, when Gravy and co. comment, it will be some vague defense that "we don't have all the facts to judge" yet when any 20 second clip of a cop's actions get posted he's automatically ready to press charges or fire the guy.

They've already stepped in and decided to do nothing.

From Nado's link...

quote:

What is known is that the COA went all out in its attempt to create the best bingo hall in Baton Rouge. It found a 33,000-square-foot space in a vacant shopping center at 6955 Florida Blvd., not far from the COA’s headquarters, and signed a five-year lease at $8,300 per month. It went on to spend some $203,000 painting the facility, renovating the kitchen, constructing a stage and redoing the floors.

I knew I had seen that somewhere... just couldn't find the link.

Yep... and the bingo hall lasted all of 6 months or so. Good thing they signed a 5-year $8300/month lease!

It was foreclosed on within a year. That sounds like she never made a single payment.

Is there still bingo going on there? If not, what is the building being used for?

And that led to the CoA requesting a tax that will end up costing taxpayers $80 million.

They can't manage a $300,000 budget... imagine all the frickery and shady shite they'll do with $10,000,000 a year.

I love how many of the organizations/people Gary endorses or vouches for end up being corrupt. He needs to start getting paid on the front end though

No. It's now called the East Baton Rouge COA Capital City Event Center... and I remember reading somewhere that it has a big chain link fence around it.

Gravy's video on Friday night was just plain sad. You could see it in his eyes that he knew the Sterling news wasn't going anywhere and his opportunity to become national closed up.
