Yeah it will be the GA age group state championship meet.

My daughter swam in this event a few years ago. It was a nightmare. Most swim meets are a long boring affair, but this one took long and boring to another level.

The issue is they’re closing roads around cnn where the debate is being held and security will be insane. The soccer match is expected to draw a massive crowd and roads will be closed around the stadium as well. Might be an all time traffic day.

At least with the soccer match you can take MARTA and not have to deal with any traffic.

Plus, the rules of the presidential debate stipulate there will be no audience in the auditorium. Unless they expect traffic from the presidential motorcade.

Probably blocked streets for security during the event around the venue and the motorcades coming through.

And it has nothing to do with one days traffic

GT has the 96 Olympics swim/dive facility. Likely something regional happening.

It's a huge metro wide Atlanta Swim championship. Basically every country club, HOA, swim/dive club in the metro area will be participating over the course of several days and with a lot different age groups represented. It's a very large event.

Just wait till some Hamas supporters block Peachtree or another major road starting at 3pm.

If they do what they normally just about everything around the debate will be locked down. No matter who the President is and if you like him or not them showing up is a traffic nightmare no matter what else is going on in town.

Thank God Atlanta's WNBA team isn't also playing that night...the whole town would be gridlocked

NOTHING causes traffic like a Presidential motorcade. It shuts down major interstates and shite. It's a nightmare.
