Unless it’s in your community, who gives a shite? It’s not your civic duty to be nosy. Just move along. People that stick their noses in places it doesn’t belong are usually the ones caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Birmingham, because it is several orders of magnitude smaller than ATL, doesn’t have the same set of issues going on right now.

Birmingham is also significantly more violent
Both of these are true.

Bham has problems, but not anything near what Atlanta has - city leader here are far better than what Atlanta has
The only shitty city leader Atlanta has had in the last 15 years has been Keisha Lance Bottoms, she couldn't lead a bachelorette party to a male strip club.
Kasim Reed, yes he was an arrogant prick, ruled Atlanta w/an iron fist and Atlanta thrived under his leadership, crime was at an all-time low when he was mayor, but that started to decline while Shirley Franklin was mayor. It only started to get bad again while KLB was mayor.
I like the direction that the new mayor, Andre Dickens, is going in

On the way home - just after we picked up the 75/85 connector from I 85 southbound; I saw a wrecked car on the Lindbergh Dr. HOV exit - the car was 1/3 on the shoulder and 2/3 on the road for the ramp - it looked like a car could maybe get around it, but it would be really tight
I called 911 to make a report (that situation could easily cause a bigger wreck/problem)
Why would you call fricking 911 over a stalled car? WTF?
You sound like a gaping pussy. Leave 911 for the real life threatening stuff.

Again, you want to cherry pick the city limits of Bham and just ignore the surrounding suburbs which are separate cities. Many in Atlanta would love to have what we have, hence the failed attempt by Buckhead to split off. By all means, enjoy your large urban city and everything that brings you.
Are you under the impression we don't have suburbs in Atlanta

I was there couple weeks ago
I saw a car take off and take one of those homeless fricks out with their Mirron / bumper area
He got up tho
I was 3-4 cars behind

Well, at least you are commenting on something you personally know a lot about

Baw stalls on the side of the highway are a dime-a-dozen in this city. Anyone who calls 911 specifically for those are wasting their time.

For those that aren’t familiar with Atlanta, the Lindbergh Dr. exit is in Buckhead, Atlanta’s most affluent area by far; so the cell tower I was on should have directed me to a police station serving a fairly wealthy area

This was not a stalled car on the shoulder
The front left bumper was on the barrier and 2/3 of the car was jackknifed blocking the entire exit ramp
That’s a dangerous situation where a wrecked car blocked an exit ramp, especially if someone is coming down the HOV lane and starts to exit without paying attention
I’ve never had a problem with you before, but a wrecked car (or even a stalled) car blocking a narrow exit ramp is potentially deadly and certainly dangerous - this was a Buckhead exit
If you really don’t think that is 911 worthy, I don’t know what to tell you
If Someone calls 911 to report a speeder or any other traffic violation, I would agree - bitch move
I know people that take that particular exit every time they have a 2nd passenger

Ok, fair retort
Maybe should of called 511, which is the DOT H.E.R.O.unit number in lieu of 911?

Turn left, absolutely
Turn right, and you are in Buckhead within a mile - the immediate area is sketchy, I’ll grant you that, but turn right and you are 2 miles from some big money areas - that Lindbergh station would handle Cheshire Bridge Rd area (sketchy), but also up to Peachtree St and Buckhead proper
