Sounds like you married someone who celebrated Christmas.

well when you say it like that it doesn't seem so odd...

It's okay bud, I still think you're odd.

I mean at this point. Does anyone really connect the birth of Jesus and the holiday season together?

It's bunch of pagan solstice ritual with Christ stamped over it. He was most likely born in spring.

nah, Boo was right
plus I have kids now so I mostly do it for them
I certainly did not spend 4 hours hanging lights this weekend for myself

some of that would be fun...

That looks whiter than a Wiggles concert.

But the joy that they show and the fun that they have is also for you... It's part of parenting.

noticed a new sign on the way to work yesterday, one of those blue signs saying someone is sponsoring roadside cleanup for the next two miles, it was the local atheist chapter, why do thy need an "organization?"

I liked it more than Hereditary. Which is saying a lot.

so, let me follow you logic here, You are triggered that people who don't agree with you celebrate a holiday you think your religion owns when in actuality it was stolen from religions that preceded yours.
Blissfully unaware people are fun.

that vast majority of these atheist groups are for people who were once part of a church and left but miss the social part of it

Everyone celebrates the arrival of Santa Claus not Jesus man.
