It's a huge outage. Mobile services are down as well are business circuits. We have 3 branch locations down in the LC area and our service rep says there several businesses without service at the moment.

I'm currently in Jennings and cell service has been in and out the last few hours. Pretty strong signal at the moment

Sounds like someone cut an interstate fiber. If it’s that large of an area they might get a visit from public service commission and maybe some blacked out government vehicles. Definitely gonna get a huge bill if it was marked correctly.

Two of our Lake Charles locations are back up but our Sulphur location is down. Still waiting on our business circuit rep to clarify what actually happened.

We never got service out here in Iowa anyway. Don't really notice much difference.

According to KPLC, two fiber trunks were damaged. One was by a contractor digging (it happens often) and the other was pulled down by a passing truck.

Gotta pump them numbers. When I was in the field I cut one in north Mississippi that knocked out service from Oklahoma to North Carolina. Wasn’t marked right so it wasn’t my fault but your heart sinks when it’s hanging off your bucket.
