I have always been the sugar momma so that blanket statement is pretty inaccurate.

But you are an outlier. So his blanket statement still correct. A blanket statement is not a hundred percent correct.

What?

I’m an admitted ot poor but I take care of myself. it was the same way when I was married. Even if he had contributed to anything other than himself financially during the marriage it would not in any way be worth it for me to put up with all that shite to be “taken care of” again.

That's a bunch of bullshite. I've lived on my own before I got married. I packed my car up and moved across the country by myself. I could survive on my own and completely support myself if I had to.

I grew up with my mom as a stay at home mom. Saw how she was totally dependent on my dad as I was growing up and swore I would never do the same thing. Never wanted to be in that position when I grew up.

I wish it weren’t looked down upon to never get married. It seems like the vast majority gets married at some point, even really weird people too. I feel like it should be normal for there to be a lot of people who just don’t make that commitment for some reason or another. But for some reason people think it’s more normal to be divorced than to have never been married.

If given the choice I’d much rather be never married than divorced
